Newish Doll - Diane Kruger

Sometimes I just want to put up my hands and scream SHUT UP. But Im not here to post about my problems, so lets get to this newish doll.








Diane Kruger (born 15 July 1976) is a German actress and former fashion model. In North America, she is known for her role as Dr. Abigail Chase in National Treasure, National Treasure: Book of Secrets and for her role as Bridget von Hammersmark in Inglourious Basterds.


In 2004, Kruger starred with Nicolas Cage and Sean Bean (who co-starred with her in Troy) in the popular film National Treasure, going on to appear in movies such as Joyeux Noël (2005) and Copying Beethoven (2006). She reprised her role as Dr. Abigail Chase in National Treasure: Book of Secrets, released in December 2007.
Kruger was the hostess of the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2007 Cannes Film Festival.
In 2009, she co-starred as a German actress turned saboteur in Quentin Tarantino's film Inglourious Bastards. Kruger stars in 2010 in the Liam Neeson film Unknown White Male alongside January Jones.
In December 2009, she announced the nominations of the 67th Golden Globe Awards and also picked up nominations from the Screen Actors Guild for Best Supporting Actress and Outstanding Performance by a Cast of a Motion Picture for her role in Inglourious Basterds.
Kruger made a cameo appearance in an April 2010 episode of the Fox show Fringe, in which her boyfriend, actor Joshua Jackson is a star.

The Feathers Trend

I was contemplating as to whether or not I wanted to made this post a 'Street Chic' one, but I figured - lets just make this a post in itself.

Fur. Real of fake, it's too big to be a trend, on and off the catwalk it was more of a deluge. If you don't say it with fur, you better be saying it with feathers.



Take a look at the picture above. It's fashion icon writemarycat and she is sporting this trend. Although she is wearing a fur scarf, it does blend well into the feathers around it and sort of gives it an illusion that the whole top half of her outfit is infact all feathers.

I am loving this look for autumn and winter and I really hope to see more of it around Stardoll. Big names like Gucci, Lanvin, McQueen, Galliano and Emilio Pucci are all embracing this trend. I know it has been a while since, I myself have published anything. But believe it or not, school as already started for me and I am not going to let it 'kick my butt'.

Catherine Élise "Cate" Blanchett (born 14 May 1969) is an Australian actress and theatre director. She has won multiple acting awards, most notably two SAGs, two Golden Globe Awards, two BAFTAs, an Academy Award, as well as the Volpi Cup at 64th Venice International Film Festival. Blanchett came to international attention in the 1998 film Elizabeth, directed by Shekhar Kapur, in which she played Elizabeth I of England. She is also well-known for her portrayals of the elf queen Galadriel in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Colonel-Doctor Irina Spalko in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and Katharine Hepburn in Martin Scorsese's The Aviator, a role which brought her the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She and her husband Andrew Upton are currently artistic directors of the Sydney Theatre Company.

New Doll- Sulaf Fawakherji

Sulaf Fawakherji is a prominent Syrian film and TV actress. She has played many roles on Syrian soap operas. Fawakherji studied art and sculpture at Adahm Ismail Fine Arts Institute before starring on stage in plays including Al-Sawt and Hekayat al-Sheetaa. She was one of the torchbearer during the Omani leg of the 2008 Summer Olympics torch relay.
