Marc Jacobs shining in green!

Watching TV, watching a reality show, watching ads... changing channels... I found this:

High Fashion! Men wearing Women clothes.
You recognize Marc Jacobs!
I like to see edgy things, and this New Yorker knows how to catch attention.
Basically, this is a Fashion video that will stay a reference for me...

But what do you think about that?
Is there some videos you'd like me to show in a post?

Cause I just created a column 'Fashion Videos'. And I already know what my next post will be about. But if you're thinking about a video, just me let me know in comments and I'll add it to my next post! :)

Mia, M.I.A!

Hiya TTTers! Long time, no see!

If you are one of those who followed my blog (BFM) from the start, you know that Mia (ShesSoNaive) was a BIG part of it! It really saddens me to see that Mia is no longer with us!

BAH, don't be so dramatic, she didn't DIE! To my knowledge anyway...

Any of you guys know where she is?

LE Decor

Okay, so I may be a little behind on the times with this one, but there has been a new batch of Limited Edition!!! furniture released into the starplaza. Some things are nice, some things aren't, but the one thing that caught my eye was the painting of Michael Jackson - and not in a good way. I can't help but feel that, even though I'm not a fan in any shape or form, that it is in poor taste and is just a way to capitalise on a dead man, long after he actually passed. Maybe that's just me though.

This particular LE decor collection seems to be all over the place, too. What exactly does a hi-tech elevator (which I will admit is pretty damn cool. Imagine if it actually functioned as a way to get from room to room. I hope it does, but I won't know because I'm not -ahem- investing…) and sleeping deer in a basket have in common? The animals may be cute - I always miss the bloody owls - but you'd think they'd be more folksy then futuristic. I just wish the designers would get on a theme and stick to it, because as it stands, all I'm getting is 85% ~futuristic!~ and 15% what the actual heck is that? Speaking of which…

What in fresh paperdoll hell is this?!

If anyone wants to translate the gibberish on this monstrosity, I'd be most happy to hear why anyone would purchase a chalk board covered in such intellectual ramblings as "Tik Tok" and "Ohana" and "Ring" and the Stardoll logo and the LE logo and… oh, I give up.

Edit: Ah! I almost missed out on the chance to complain about ridiculous prices. 200sd for a circular bed? I kid you not, folks. Dear Stardoll: unless I can redeem this bed for diamonds in real life, you can forget it. Thank you. :)

Style up your Halloween costume

I was looking at the Mcqueen spring/summer 2012 Couture collection, (aren't they stunning) and then while looking at the veils I thought, why not try something like that for Halloween.
Halloween is a time where it is traditional to dress up, no matter what age you are. So maybe you are having trouble thinking what to dress up as or perhaps you want to try something a bit more pretty than grotesque. The veils are made from a few different materials, but if you get some lace, sequins and beads you could easily make up a 'mask' for the holiday.

You would be fashion forward, have a reason to wear this unusual style and look gorgeous, as well as mysterious in your veil. Then all you need to complete the look is some simplistic makeup,a floaty dress to match your veil and some killer heels. You could even add some glitter, a few sequins or stitch on some feathers to the shoes and dress until you get the look.(If you need any help on how to do these things, remember, Youtube must have a video for everything by now).

Why not look at a few other couture collections, your favourites old and new. You would have an edge over many other costumes at a party and would have reason to wear the styles you love.

What are you dressing up as this Halloween? Do you think you will be trying this?

p.s. Here are a few examples of other couture collections you may like to create...

Valentino ( big head pieces)

Dior ( Make a traditional kimono more high fashion)

Marchesa ( Tie dye)

Oh, my, goodness!

Never, and I say never have I felt the rage I feel right now.
What does this look like to you?
It's a skinny assed, muscle defined model in a cage dress.
Now does she look fat? No? Think again because apparently, that's not the right answer.
No. She is fat. Thanks to the Anon with the poor guess of the designer's name. And Anon, I know you're reading this. Everyone else, you're all reading this too. Now, I'm not trying to advertise my graphics, though I could, I'm not. What I'm doing, if you don't realize is asking you all a question.
Are fat people worthy of torment from their body shape? Nope. Are fat people worthy of discrimination? Nope. Are fat people beautiful? Yes! Skinny people are no more beautiful than fat people! And it's about damn time that everyone smells the fucking roses. Now it would be a different story if the model was as skinny as Justin Bieber's naughty parts wouldn't it? She would be beautiful, wouldn't she?
On the inside maybe, but personally I think too skinny is disgusting. Their bodies look like old men with moobs. Yuck.
Now why Anon, this is your part to fill in. Why is fat so bad? Are you fat and ashamed? Are you skinny and jealous? Are you just upset I can make graphics and obviously you can't?
Whatever the reason you commented was because you're both scared of what people would think of you (hence the Anonymousness) and your definition of beauty is wrong.

Write Us A Story! It's Compitition Time!

Hey everyone! As you may know, it's just about Halloween time and what better way to celebrate it than... Halloween stories!?!

Okay, so here are the rules:

You must be original!
You must include at least 3 members of the TTT staff
You must have it Halloween themed.
You must proof read it and make sure everything makes sense.
You must set it out like the example below.
You must write at least 2 paragraphs.

Wooldoor, 19 - Halloween Story.
This is my Halloween story. I hope you have had a terrible time reading this as it is very scary.
 The End.

-
Yes, I know there was a competition like this on SMW and I will be checking to see if anyone has copied someone's story. Don't think I wont, cause I will.
The winner will be featured in Monster's fourth issue.

You have until the 28th of October to get writing. We will not accept any late stories, no matter the excuse.
Good luck to everyone.

*Please note, my example is just to show how it should be set out. Please actually write a story.

Where am I?

I can't be on TTT can I? Is that possible? Thank you so much to Kim and Erica for this opportunity. I squealed with delight when I was asked to write for this legendary blog. As of yet I am not sure what I will be posting about, but I will try to find subjects relevant to this blog.  If you have any suggestions please do share.

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Robyn, stardoll user evermore1girl, I am 14, Irish and every bit as weird as you might think. I thought for now, I could talk about some of the less well known trends for the season. One of the styles that particularly caught my interest was Chokers.

This instantly lead me to think of how much we could really do with a choker. From feathers to beads from plain to studded. The choker could be used to go with so many outfits. Some examples of the trend can be seem on the Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino, Chanel and Lanvin catwalks, as well as many more.

The key to this accessory is that it draws attention to your neck and face. You don't want to wear alot of other jewellery with it, it makes a statement all on its own and can look cluttered with big earrings. Isn't it funny how many old trends continue to come back around, being updated to the new tastes of fashion.

This style compliments vintage, evening, formal, glitzy, plain and day dresses, as well as metal chokers having a punk edge. Not only is it stylish, but it will help keep your neck warm in the chilly Autumn and Winter.

Do you think you will be trying this style out? What would you go for?

Linda on a Rampage?

Was Linda(elite-girl) caught on a rampage? Our sources say "absolutely!"

Above is a shot from Linda's MSW photo shoot, after she was named as a semi-finalist for the annual competition. Linda's rep released a statement from the socialite stating "Linda was overjoyed when she was announced as a semi-finalist. This is a big honor for her. And she plans to do her very best to be a great role model for young Dollywood."

But after a late night of partying on the Starset Strip, where Linda proceeded to strip naked after a few too many shots, onlookers couldn't help but wonder what kind of role model Linda had in mind. And followers of MSW weren't all too surprised when she didn't make it to the finals.

After being dropped from the competition, Linda made a very public statement, outlining what she really thought of MSW.

"What kind of role model would I be if I didn't continue living life as I had before I was nominated for MSW? I would be a liar! I can't simply pretend that I'm not a fan of partying and drinking. And maybe getting naked on the strip wasn't the best idea, but at the end of the day, it's who I am. Take me or leave me. MSW is full of fakers and pretty faces pretending to be perfect, when they really have as many flaws as you and I!"

Linda's very blunt statement caused an uproar among MSW officials and contestants, alike. And though she stands by her statement, she later released an apology through her rep.

"Linda is genuinely sorry for the way her statement may have been perceived by all affiliates of MSW. While she doesn't retract said statement, she does apologize for painting a bad image of MSW."
