Mary's Back!

Just when things began to calm down, Stardoll Fashion Week and Eternity Magazine founder writemarycat announces her arrival. She posted the following on her presentation:

You can never stay away from the site for too long, can you? Seems like everyone gets a little home sick might I add. Could this mean we're in for something big?

The Feathers Trend

I was contemplating as to whether or not I wanted to made this post a 'Street Chic' one, but I figured - lets just make this a post in itself.

Fur. Real of fake, it's too big to be a trend, on and off the catwalk it was more of a deluge. If you don't say it with fur, you better be saying it with feathers.



Take a look at the picture above. It's fashion icon writemarycat and she is sporting this trend. Although she is wearing a fur scarf, it does blend well into the feathers around it and sort of gives it an illusion that the whole top half of her outfit is infact all feathers.

I am loving this look for autumn and winter and I really hope to see more of it around Stardoll. Big names like Gucci, Lanvin, McQueen, Galliano and Emilio Pucci are all embracing this trend. I am LOVING this. Mary, you did an excellent job designing that dress. In case you guys are wondering, though, the dress worn on model Nicole (coconut_nicole) is a new line designed by writemarycat herself; seventy one! We are so happy to be apart of this and we cannot wait to see where it goes! Everyone give a round of applause!

I really want to see more of this look! How about this, if you recreate a look inspired by this trend, I'll publish it in the next 'Street Chic' article - a special edition. Think wispy silk slips, floor tailing floral dresses layered over long-sleeved knits - ah, old fashioned romance! For colours, go with a smudgy palette of smoke grey, fawn and burnt orange and accessories it with librarian-chic specs! Long, loose hair can be your finishing touch!

Stardoll Fashion Reaches New Heights!

I was thinking earlier about this blog, where I want to take it - what I want it to become and I kind of got the idea that I don't really want this blog to control or spark any sort of controversies. With that being said...

The comment I published a few days ago regarding Stardoll Fashion Week is still valid. But, I applaud writemarycat for creating such a dynamic project. I am ready to give it a chance and kindly support it. After all, this blog is based on Stardoll fashion and everything linked to it. We must be generous and follow this venture.

We do hope that Mary will reach out to us, as well as you guys - and supply us with some exclusives! What is personal, is personal. Business is business.
