Punk This

We all know by now that the punk inspirations are every where and the bigger they get the more they appear through the fashion scene of Stardoll, with many stardollians adopting this look. Two girls, Elle (rockinellee) and Helen (_starhelen_), have both been captured rocking this trend recently, wearing black t shirts and a strong punk attitude to match. Who looks best?

Safari Summer or Nothing!

You may think that safari patterns have been here for a long time. For sure they have, however they've never been so well made and well worn on the runways for summer before. Of course, you may find it ridiculous for all looks to be in one pattern, but here's where you will be able to find some great looks.

Purity has been found at MaxMara

This summer, the MaxMara woman goes intellectual and she wants to make a Safari in Africa. After all, she spends a lot for this country with all the money she's giving to philanthropic causes helping Africa, so it seems logical for her to go there once in her life. Then, as always, she's having great fun with her luxurious clothes, sometimes wearing jumpsuits or skirts with very feminine shirts, the whole time in Sahara or soil color. As she also becomes interested about the country, she knows that when it rains, it does a lot... so it's logical to bring a great coat, a master piece that gives a real tribute to the country itself.

'One, two, three not only you and me' at Emilio Pucci

The Pucci woman seems to have re-invented the three colours of the look. It's mostly white, beige and brown with yellow or green hints. Jumpsuits are her best friends, whether long or short. She's just having fun with this colors that go well with her tanned skin from the sun of the summer. If it is not to wear at work she mostly wears it on sundays when she's invited to a brunch on the Upper East Side or to a polo game at the luxurious Hamptons.

When you think about Safari, you think about Kenzo

Of course, what would be this post without the Kenzo woman? Well, she's completely crazy, in the best way. Anna Dello Russo wouldn't even have to mix Kenzo pieces with other brands to make these outfits, she can already easily have it all, just going to a Kenzo boutique. The patterns are big, the colors are bright and neon, but the shapes are casual and loose. The Kenzo woman may be a bit of a paradox and she isn't afraid to wear it every day. She's tropical every where, mostly on the subway!

New designers bring new concepts: the Safari mermaid from Anthony Vaccarello
The Anthony Vaccarello woman is a mermaid living in the night. She does not own that many clothes to go to work in so she prefers to live like a socialite, partying at each and every fashion event around. As she follows fashion she loves young designers, so she found Anthony who designed these amazing dresses for her with a big Safari inspiration. The shape doesn't change that much, but for her it's important to look similar every time as she wants to be easily recognisable. After all, you can't just live partying all of your life!

Once Upon a Time... by Karl Lagerfeld

I'm sure most of you have already seen it, since it has been announced 2 weeks ago on Facebook, I've been expecting this day so badly!
Yesterday has been showed Karl Lagerfeld's film about the 100th anniversary of the first Chanel boutique in Deauville. A master little movie directed by the one and only Karl, for fashion lovers. With the beautiful Keria Knightley as Gabrielle Chanel.

Enjoy!

What you think about this film?

Bambi Revolution

For the ones that follow the future of fashion at the numerous fashion weeks, you may have seen Bambi featuring on the latest Givenchy runway. We could even say that Bambi is the new Mickey. This spring prepare for the Marc Jacobs crop top with Mickey all over the fashion scene.

However it's not that new... The real story of Bambi in fashion begins with Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, who apparently felt upset about the Givenchy runway and as he said on his facebook, surprised that Bambi was on another brand's sweater.

HUGE accessories

This spring, designers left us with edgy proportions. Minimalism is slowly fading away as Carine Roitfeld said she hopes so at the last Paris Fashion Week. Here we are in spring and it's time for you to get some references on what you will have to wear this season as accessories.

The master word here is HUGE, choose to wear some big accessories the next month at the beach or if you are willing to chill out to eat an ice cream.

Take your huge Chanel pearls as shown at the side here.

A Fashion Thought

Logos, patterns, colors... Every fashion house has it own codes, but what's the most important for you to wear? Are you the type to show of your money drowned in endless logos from designer brands? Or do you prefer to stay neutral and wear clothes that you like?

Logo's everywhere
There's a kind of woman who loves to show her money. We don't who she is, we don't know the reason she's so rich, but she needs to show it.

You can see her in the streets wearing a Chanel top with the famous logo, a Louis Vuitton bag of course, a Burberry trench showing the pattern and why not some Louboutins with the red sole. Most of the time these women are wearing fakes actually, because rich people like this don't tend to parade around in the streets! The point is, even if it's fake or not and even if we imagine a woman really wearing this, isn't that too much? I don't think it's ever interesting to look like that because when people look at you they get lost by the endless stamps of brands written all over you.

Don't call my name
The opposite woman is actually really pure and doesn't think of having all the remarkable items from the top brands. She has banned all big logos or patterns and just choose the most discrete ones. Not even the name of the brand can be seen, which means no Céline or Givenchy bags! Mulberry is more appropriate. The fact a woman can already buy Jean-Paul Gaultier doesn't me she'll buy a marinière. She doesn't care about the designers, her point is to have quality clothes and she doesn't care about any luxury brand that has a show at the Fashion Week.

The middle
The right middle between these is to actually wear whatever you want without remarkable logos or pattern, but just add one article (mostly accessories) to your look. LV bag, Louboutin, Hermès scarf, you'll have to choose. There is the challenge, there comes the style and where you, and only you can stamp your personal style on an outfit.

I prefer to be the middle, I think it's what makes fashion intelligent, to choose the right things to wear and being able to mix different clothes and brands. I'm sure you've already seen these types of people in these fashions, but what category would you put yourself in?

Crop Top Trend

Hey, it's me again! I'm back being very inspired by real life fashion these past times. So I'm bringing to you an ambitious way to make posts. Really structured, as I think every collection designers draws show a perception of what the women's silouhette needs to look like next season. And this season, crop top is back!

You guys surely remember Lindsay Lohan ten years ago wearing this trend. Then, it's back here for the thinner of us that have no problems with showing their navel.
Now let's see where you can find some of 'em.

The CHANEL Woman

"I feel like a China-Chanel girl"
The Chanel woman is classy, as ever. She enjoys her crop top on high-waisted pants or a high-waisted short skirt to give her legs a bit of credits otherwise she feels uncomfortable. If she doesn't use black, it's only white or blue. The arms get to be a bit oversized because she wants some fresh air on the long sleeves. To perfect the look she always feels the need to make a tribute to the sea with big pearls on her wrists or her neck.
