And I'm the Welite?

Consider this a rant of sorts. Its rare that I get pissed off, but today, someone had the idea in their head thinking that it was a good idea to push my buttons—we'll just leave it at that.

Let the story begin.

After posting a preview of an up and coming graphic over at The Graphic Vault, Eliza, also known as Wooldoor, provides some feedback regarding my graphic. At the time, I could hardly care less. I'm used to receiving harsh feedback; in the end, its what drives me to improve. So, like with all negative responses to my work, I reply.

If you're wondering, I was proving a point, with a slight sarcastic edge. And also because I didn't understand what Eliza was referring to. Unfortunately, sarcasm isn't my strongest suit—especially considering you can't change the tone of your voice while online.

As of this point, I wasn't expecting a reply. But of course, it comes. Being from Jewish herritage, speak of Hitler is almost prohibited in my family. When someone mentions him, a rain of silence follows. And that my friends—is how serious of an offense the comparison to Hitler is to me and my religion. To add to Eliza's remark, she bluntly states as of herself being of a pro. I've always, to say the least, have admired her work. Until now. I'd imagine at this state, Eliza's ego is as big as Asia combined.

By the point I've read her response, I've already posted the final product over at The Graphic Vault. How could I have not seen another insult launched—heading in my direction.

Actually, I did read your tip. And, thanks for the advice, by the way.

As you can see, I listened. I also did attempt to rise the quality of my graphic. If you don't like my graphics, then that's your problem, Eliza. Not mine.

I just have a few words to say to that...
First, and foremost, I apologize for the few profanities I used. Also the lack of grammar and punctuation; sadly, my knowledge slims when I'm angry. Anyhow...I'm relatively new to the welite concept, however, from the few rumors spread, I've learned its used to call someone a wannabe elite. That—for lack of better words—is so far from the truth. Like you've learned, I could hardly care about being elite, in fact, no one is better than anyone else! How dare you call someone a welite if you don't know the first thing about them? And why did you decide to let your anger out on me...I can't remember—or recall (ha ha)— ever hurting your feelings. Which leads back to the question: why me?

If there's really one word to describe my mood right now, it could only be explained by the following:
Rant over and out.

The Anonymous Fest

Perhaps you've read my previous post concerning the return of Memories of a Medoll? As an avid blogger, I'm constantly on the run; checking out new blogs, abandoned and forever forgotten blogs, plus those whom affiliate with the category, revival blogs.

Alas, Jenny, the final edition to the three "Queens of Lifestyle", has made her debut in the world of blogging. Jenny made a post within the past few days regarding her return to the socialite scene. Of course, with a new controversy returning to town, there's ought to be a handful of seemingly contagious anonymous'.

Honestly, I couldn't be more entertained by reading their comments. Expect more than enough swearing, bashfulness, and sincere hate. Continue reading if your ready to rid of whatever sense of childhood that still daunts you.

Give It A Rest Already...

Maybe you've heard, but MDM is making a reappearance. My reaction to the return was probably equivalent to a five year old on Christmas morning. After all, who wouldn't be pleasantly surprised to find Noelle (or Isabella, I honestly can't tell...) poised behind a computer screen, writing with undeniable passion?

In the words of an icone here's what they had to say about the reappearance...

"The beloved MDM blog is at its rightful owners once again.

And why shouldn't it be?

Denying the owners' access to their own blog is unforgivable.
And stripping them off completely is just plain disrespectful.
MDM does not owe anyone any explanation.

NO

Especially not you"

The last part didn't seize to entertain my active mind. I definitely didn't notice the indirect attack. I waited a few days, silently wondering if this was all but a bluff. I mean, Noelle was gone for over a year. But, I was surprised when post after post was established, completely contradicting my original thoughts. By this point my curiosity had slowly faded into pure amusement.

"After what seemed to be a needless drama about that last person who kicked us out (whom we kicked back OUT harder), MDM is having a HUGE overhaul of the whole blog from what was left from it (whoever thought that the tacky blue-green damask background was cute is certainly disturbed). In the next couple of weeks, MDM will be undergoing a HUGE restoration from writers, to graphics to the overall look & feel."

I do not know Aislin very well, but from tracking MDM ever since she gained ownership, visually I could tell she put a ton of blood, sweat, and tears into the making of the blog. Including a handful of stardollars too, if your forgetting about the gorgeous, and now completely tarnished graphics. Although, lets not forget about Dei, either. She helped a tremendous amount as well.

And to be completely honest here, I think the current state MDM is in right now is much tackier than it was just days before.

The general idea here is a simple one. With a dash of misunderstanding, an overdose of immaturity, and a slice of slurred irrationality, Noelle has indeed gotten her point across. And its as clear as a bell. Though, I must confess, there's one final question lingering in the air...

Maybe Noelle forgot to attend her weekly anger management class?

A Change in Perspective

After a rather long day, I got a refreshing guestbook comment, and to say the least, it made my day, or rather rest of the day.

Intrigued, I visited Perspective.

According to her/him, they are doing this for a good reason. I thought it was really kind to go around and give compliments to various stardoll users. So, in an end to a good-turned-great day, thank you perspective, this is just what Dollywood needed.

What do you think of what she's/he's doing?

Noelle Back?

Is Noelle (noelle_page) back? Check out the following print screens:

What do you think? Do you think Noelle will bring MDM back to its previous state? I'd certainly be excited to see her (in words of Noelle), revive the blog!

Art or Something Deeper?

Somehow I ended up on stardoll (haha, that's strange, right?), and came across yet another interesting member. Take a look for yourself:

A disturbing amount of black and red are smeared across gunthilde's suite, including a bloody hand dab in the middle of the seemingly-albino doll's dress. Normally things like this doesn't faze me, but on a day like this, it did. {If you aren't hooked already, and thinking this post is a waste of your time, just leave, m'kay? Otherwise, your attention would be much appreciated.}

After browsing through many of the designs, it got me thinking.

This is a fashion haven, and an artistic outlet for...

After a dose of researching stardoll on the web, I learned from Common Sense that the most common age filtered through the website is 13 year olds. If I remember back from when I was thirteen, thrillers filled with blood and one-eyed demons did nothing but allow a handful of nightmares to file through my brain.

With that statistic in mind, how many thirteen year olds do you think that cross gunthilde's page today will not be able to go to sleep tonight?

If I were madmadeline (LOL), I probably would have reported her. But, since I'm not keen on making stardoll a website filled with butterflies and rainbows (not that it is already), I'm going to let gunthilde (and all those other members who post things that may be somewhat harmful to our younglings out there) off the hook, and next time designing something to pass the time, simply put, to be cautious.

Think of what you do before you do it. Because it can have consequences. And that shall conclude this rather meaning(ful/less) presentation.

A New Rivalry Blooming?

Before I begin, I'm not going to state my opinion here, since I am personally friends with both sides of the story. At this point, I'm not sure exactly what to think, but I feel as if its a good topic to post about, if you get me. So, with that, if you feel as if I'm leaning towards a certain side, I'm not.

The other day ago, the co-owned magazine, Teen Vogue, got a particularly interesting entry. Intrigued, I clicked on the link.

Posted by Khol (Hollyoaksrocks*), I learned that now the co-ownership has been terminated. As of now, expect a single ownership. I'm not sure exactly how I feel about having only Khol as the owner, to be completely honest, though, I haven't seen a co-ownership for quite a while now, which I was intrigued to see a duo-corporation. But, this isn't the whole of the post. Considering no explanation for the sudden slimming, I left a comment regarding my curiosity. (And disregard my random quirky comment in parenthesis...)

And Kirsten was the first to reply:
Now that explains it. Khol didn't respect Kirsten's commitment to her university, so kicked her off the team. That makes sense for the sudden cold vibe they give off... But then Khol leaves a comment, with a completely different response:

So Kirsten was lying? Now I'm most certainly confused. Although, at this point, I'm slightly curious to what actually happened if Khol is the one telling the point. Strangely, though, I have a feeling as if neither of them are telling the whole story. Next is another chilling response from Kirsten. You can be certain this friendship they once had is now over from her reply:

And after this, Jack comes to Khol's aid:

Although his response is yet another answer to the sudden rivalry, I don't think it was particularly smart to come in between the two. Although, considering he is Jack, I wouldn't have expected any other answer. In all, this did nothing really to help me truly believe what happened, but what really happened might remain a secret forever.

So, what do you think happened to end the co-ownership? Who's side are you on? Do you think Kirsten, Khol, or even Jack is telling the truth?

What Were They Thinking?: COMMESdesGARCON

I've abandoned this blog; that I know. However, its never too late to learn from your mistakes, or in this case, the things you abandon. With a fresh new makeover on the way, I've decided to pick up my act and actually start posting something.

With that, I've picked up from my previous section, "What Were They Thinking?" And who is my next victim? Welcome to the stage, COMMESdesGARCON.

Not to break any hearts here, but I'm not sure what the deal is with her. I've seen this user talk (or spam, you be the judge), with some of Dollywood's finest, almost as if she's a stalker...

But that's not what I'm here to trash, its that one god-awful outfit. Not that any of the latest hotbuys are truly flattering, but I'm a little scared knowing someone actually raked up enough stardollars to buy that dress.

Even if this is my opinion, I feel as if it deserves to be shared. For one, the color schemes are all out of place. I'm starting to wonder if a rainbow threw up on that dress. And fringes? I'm even more surprised someone actually designed that dress-- the only way it'd make sense if it was designed by a cowboy.

Accessories are the most important item of any outfit. They can either make or break an outfit, and honey, lets just say you tore a huge seam in the fashion department. I'm not sure why you felt the need to add the freebie purse, but I'll just leave it by the fact knowing that I'm having trouble holding down the rest of my food for the evening.

Finally, lets talk hair and makeup. For once, you finally managed to do something right in this case. The makeup is applied well, and the hair isn't all that bad either, however I do find the bangs quite appetizing.

Overall, this outfit was probably a bust. Next time, my advice to you is to lay off on the accessories. And work on your color scheme, girl!

Until next fashion disaster,
-Lindsey
