Versus Debut, JW Anderson

My Favourite Look from
Anderson-Versus Collaboration.
Jonathan Anderson, the Irish born fashion designer, made his Versus debut yesterday, with a star studded front row featuring Lady Gaga and Heidi Klum. Anderson is known for his strange eye for futuristic clothing, yet wearable for day-to-day use. The Versus-Anderson collection has been highly anticipated in the fashion world for many months now, and excitement grew ever since the brand officially confirmed the collaboration. But has the wait been worth it?

The collection featured a very minimal approach with most of the collection featuring black & white with little sparks of bold colours of pink to blue and a few geometric prints.

Collection Pros; Throughout the collection, a black ‘VERSUS’ sticker which featured in almost every look, I thought was quite unique and could possibly be sold individually for customers to customise their chosen Versus merchandise. One of the most important thing about this collection was the constant flow of the techniques of Anderson, the brand & Donatella herself– by examining each look, we can clearly see that the two collaborated successfully. Another wonderful thing about the collaboration is the shapes of the dresses. I’m in love with the simple shapes of the collection; The shapes were very summery with pretty cut-outs around the stomach area which gives a youthful spirit to the collection. & Finally, the bold block colours are what, I thought made the collection.

My Least Favourite Look from
Anderson-Versus Collaboration.
Collection Cons; Normally I’m a huge fan of Versace [Versus] leather, but honestly, I'm not feeling the leather from this collection. Personally, I find the leather used quite cheap; the items did not look expensive, they looked extremely cheap, and tacky, which I was pretty upset about. Another con about this collection was the men’s wear, honestly? As a ready-to-wear collection, it should be wearable for anyone in the outside world, and I don't feel as though they could be worn without getting looks from everyone, in a horrible way. Over the past few seasons, I found the use of lace quite boring – we've seen it, now bring us something new. Jason Wu uses a lot of lace which, I find comes across cheaply, although, the lace used didn’t have the same effect. It came across expensive. I found it really elegant, but I felt as though it didn't quite fit in along with the rest of the collection. And you know lace & leather equals to street hooker.

In the coming seasons, let’s hope JW Anderson & Versus collaborate again, and bring us something a lot more original & hopefully wearable to the public. In total, I give this collection 7/10.

15 years... The V is for Versace

It's been 15 years, since Gianni Versace has been killed in his Miami villa and all I can say is that Donatella is doing an amazing job.

Froms, materials, colors... Gianni is attached to every detail of his work. It's in 1978 that he decides to rule the world with a Fashion Line. He makes it really well that many stores open around the world. The feminine and male lines he creates with so many elegance, dropping trends with a touch of originality make Gianni Versace goes always higher. Accessories are launched as well as fragrances, which put the brand to a whole other level. It's in 1992 that he first shows to the world Versace Atelier, the Haute Couture line of Gianni Versace.
During all these years Gianni Versace became a real Icon, expanding and creating so many things of this Versace empire. He won so many awards, while Donatella was designing Versus. His true and kind relation with her sister were just as a good as their work.

But, today... now being 15 years, Donatella took it as her own and god knows how well she rules it. Gianni worked 19 years for his own brand before being killed and now her sister is working for it since 15 years.

To me, Versace means so many things in Fashion. Plus, Donatella must be a Muse to me just as she was for his brother. I saw various TV emissions in which she was featured and she's really an incredible woman for me, you know what I mean.
Today in Stardoll I am wearing Versace, from LE 9th collection. But there are several other items that were inspired by Versace all over the starplaza stores... just look at this:

Seen On Stardoll is surely the best place to see that.

Selena vs Perez.

Selena and Perez gets in a little fight, no big deal, doesn't bother me.
Posts on PSG, no worries.

Wannabe elites hating on Selena all because they love Perez. Now, don't get me wrong, I love both girls and I know that bullying is not on. But, what also isn't right, hating on Selena because Perez isn't happy with her. Yes, as I said, bullying isn't on but sucking up Perez's ass because she's popular is way off. If Selena was giving someone else the shits, they posted it on a blog, nobody would care.

Do you see how unfair that is? Yes I know PSG is a popular blog but should that matter? No. Yes, it's being more aware of harassment but it's just as stupid to hate the hater. I myself have done some pretty nasty things on Stardoll, of which I have made Selena aware of before. Never was I posted on Beg For More for it.

And never mind what I have done, the point is, I have made members uncomfy, I admit it but has anything happened to me? Yes, it would have been nice if Selena posted it and for the people wondering what happened to them, they would know what has happened. It might have been a bit heartless but Selena was there to listen. Will she use it against me? No.

Everyone can be bitchy, everyone makes mistakes.  I don't care what happened between them but can everyone give Selena a break. Everyone should calm the fluff down and just be aware that not everyone's perfect. If we all keep hating on everyone, I'm sure soon we will be as gorgeous as Donatella Versace, so keep it up! Anger and stress makes everyone beautiful.

And remember, I am taking nobodies but my own side and supporting for what I think is right.
Have a sook in the comments if you want.
