Number 13

This cover came as a lightning from a nowadays so vague fashion heaven. Only yesterday we could admire beautiful Thomas Sottong on the cover of the latest issue of Acne Paper - No. 13. AP is known for its thimatical issues, and for this time a theme which is a constant part of our lives, unlike the issue before this one's youth-theme, was picked - the body.

This is what editor in chief, Thomas Persson, says about this issue: “We were interested in looking at the body from an artistic angle, one that is broader than the general representation of the human form in magazines today. I find that we are so obsessed with modern, rather boring beauty ideals, the perfectly chiseled, impersonal bodies often lacking in humanity, history, and a life lived. So we wanted to look at the human form as an inspiration beyond that.”
A few weeks back we were all presented to the A/W 2012 collection of Acne. Strange proportions, new shapes and vivid colours were the leading factors of it. In fact, these factors were all influenced below one main influence - the body. Acnestudios are certainly under inspiration of our anatomy. Let's see what that leads to in the future, shall we?

But back to the magazine. The cover was shot by Julia Hetta and the entire issue can be sneaked on here. Personally I find Acne Paper to be one of few refreshing stick ups in an otherwise so mainstreamed range of fashion magazines. What do you think?

Do The Yamamoto

Well, hello. Remember me? I must say I certainly hope you do, haha. It's only been 7 months. And before the question pops up in your mind I shall answer you - no, I'm not back on stardoll. Then what is this, you might ask? TTT, of course! I'm back on TTT, to write about real life related fashion. I'm the, as Kimberly so fiercely calls me, Fashion Worldwide reporter. In either way, I'll start up smoothly. Here I'll present 3 out of a 15 page spreaded editorial by Nielsen Omvik for Bon Magazine. It's centered about Yohji Yamamoto, the living legend of Paris Fashion Week. Professional dancers Andrea and Luis from the Cullbergs Ballet portrays her artwork through dance. Enjoy!
Fierce, huh? To see the entire editorial click here. If you've got any special wishes or ideas for how my writing here shall be as pleasant for everyone as possible, please let me know so in the comments field!

Lipstick; Ready For A Return?

After a long wait it seems as though Lipstick may finally be making a comeback!

The magazine released it's last full issue back in January of 2011, and after a hiccup with the cover of the futuristic issue leaking Lipstick has made no return. I was recently at Lizs' page and decided to leave her a little guestbook enquiry, look what I found out...

Lipstick is indeed making a return sometime!
I do not know when and Laura did not say,
so all we can do know is play the waiting game.
*tick...tock...*

Doll Of The Year (16-12)

16TH; AISLINVICTORY
Aislin Victory is one of the most talked about Stardollians of 2011. She was known originally for her blog ElitesExposed but is now managing the highly popular Medoll Memoires. Although Aislin has taken a step down from running numerous fantastic projects, she is still shining above.

15TH; UNDAMYUMBRELLLA
Kasia was a huge elite during the early years of the Stardoll. Known most recently for her risky and flamboyant stardesign items, such as the ever so scandalous 'tit dress'. Her designs have been in demand for many of stardolls users and dolls display them proudly in their suites.

14TH; JUICY-MUCH
Juicy-much is a relatively well known blogger. Although she only arised sometime last year onto the user-made blogging scene she has certainly made a name for herself. She has won writing competitions all around Stardoll. Juicy-much=14th.

13TH; FASHIONNGIRL.
Eamonn is a 16 year old boy from Ireland and he has certainly made his mark on Stardoll. Taking ownership of Today's Top Trends in early 2011 was his first step to success on stardoll... Later owning numerous successful projects and abandoning a few along the way. He now owns Eamonn Collins which debuted at TTT-FW and his modelling agency, also self-titled.

12TH; RUUBIN
Everybody knows Selena. Whether you like her or not you cannot deny that she has achieved plenty during her days on Stardoll. Selena boosted to fame with her then anonymous blog, Hunnigall for Stardoll, more commonly known as Beg For More, and has taken up many writing positions for PSG. She has been hated among the interface of Stardoll many times, but now that Selena has taken a more relaxed approach to Stardoll she is recieved well all round.

Doll Of The Year 2011 (20-17)

20TH; TO_ROYAL

Coming in 20th is the wonderful To_Royal. Deidra is a pleasant stardoll member and is well known for her contibutions to many famous blogs. As well as owning one of the most famous award shows here on Stardoll, The Classique Awards, Deidra is also a true fashionista. Her outfits are daring and creative and her looks truly unforgettable. Deidra certainly deserves a place on this list.

19TH; NOELLE_PAGE
In my opinion, this girl deserves an outstanding contribution to Stardoll award. Noelle created, along with Isabella, one of the biggest blogs of all time and will forever be rememberd as a pioneer of Stardoll. Good luck in life Noelle, you certainly deserve it!

18TH; ROCKINELLEE
Elle is a 15 year old girl with a heart filled with fashion.. She is highly recognisable as one of the top models on Stardoll and has had a huge modelling past. As well as modelling for many famous brands and magazines, she has also taken on some extraordinary modelling competitions, winning many.

17TH;.NAIMA
From one model to the next... Melinda is one of the most successful models on Stardoll ever, winning so many competitions that it's getting hard to count. Although she may be uber successful in the modelling past-time, she is also a talented writer and an amazing person in general. 18th, you deserve it.
