Jenny McCarthy is an American adult model, comedian, actress, author, and activist. She began her career in 1993 as a Playboy magazine model. Recently, she has written books about parenting, and has become and activist promoting claims that vaccine causes autism and that chelation therapy is effective against autism. She was married to John Mallory Asher, and is currently dating Jim Carrey.In May 2007, Jenny McCarthy announced that her son Evan was diagnosed with autism in 2005. McCarthy is also the spokesperson for Talk About Curing Autism (TACA). She has been also rewarded with the James Randi Educational Foundation's Pigasus Award.
