We’re all pretty much at that point where school is ready to discourage us with its 5 inch thick textbooks, pointless pop quizzes, and intimidating teachers. But what is the one thing inside of us that gets are juices flowing, and creativity going? Writing! That is exactly the reason why we will be holding two competitions running until August 31st. These include two options- one or the other, not both. The first consists of writing a poem about the end of summertime- we love all kinds of poetry, rhyming or not. The second is about writing a completely false story of what people wished to do on their summer break. This story can be possible, or even impossible!
Whoever has the most interesting poetry will receive 75 stardollars, and the person that has the most creative story gets to be a guest writer on Today’s Top Trends! We will pick 3 finalists for each category, and then hold a poll determining who will win, it’s up to you! We want an equal amount of people to participate in each competition. It would help us out a lot. Please post your entries in the comments below, and tell us which you will be taking part in.
Make sure to tell us how you like the new and improved TTT in the comments below, and if you have any suggestions, just say! We love to hear what our readers think, there is always room for improvement.
Haha, I bet 'Soulless Entity' from PSG is coming out from it's cave to participate in your contest! LOL
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I thought I would try a poem about the harshness of going back to the real life!
''The summer is over, and it's time to go back. Out of your house and out of your shack. The hardest thing now is to wake up in the mornings, get yelled at by teachers with a whole lot of warnings. For us with a job and bosses named Bob, has to be there 8:20, if not he will fire us and hire back plenty!''
Ohey! What a fantastic competition. Good luck to everyone participating! :D
ReplyDeleteI think I'll be entering both of the competitions. Later though (;
ReplyDeleteAwesome competition! I miss these kind of comps on Stardoll/blogs... They're really fun and get's members to be creative!
ReplyDeleteI think you should have an email to send the entries in, because it's so uncomfortable in the comments section...
