  1. It is pretty annoying that everyone all of a sudden gives a fuck whats going on in third world countrys. This has been going on for a while and now people decide to care? FOLLOWERS.. much? In time or so they won't even care... which upsets me.

  5. I introduced this to everyone at my school and it's made a big difference. A lot of people are re-posting and sharing the video, while others donate money. We're trying to convince the school to allow a rally for it. It's such a worthy cause!

  6. Have you researched Invisible children or Kony? Invisible children gives 32% of it's donations to Kony's Group LRA, and Kony has been kidnapping for 26 years.. WHY THE FUCK DIDN'T WE DO ANYTHING EARLIER?

Wait I know why, The USA found out that Kony's army lives on Oil rich land, so the US wants LRA to move just so we can rape their land for oil and leave like the greedy bastards we are.

  7. @Roxie_Sora- Sounds like you've been reading into some conspiracy theories. Be careful with that stuff and be sure to check your sources for reliability. None of what you said sounds true. I honestly doubt invisible children is donating money to Kony's organization.

My point is that after a month or so few will care. I wonder how much money they spent on this campaign when the money could had been used else where. This kind of stuff has been going on for decades you're not gonna stop it in one year = unrealistic expectations.

  9. oseph Kony is undoubtedly a cruel man, but lets look at some fun facts around the issue and the organization Invisible Children:

    The issue:
-The LRA is only 250 soldiers strong at this point.
-The LRA hasn't been in Uganda since 2006.
-Ugandan army and Sudan People’s Liberation Army are riddled with accusations of rape and looting.
-US Africa Command has been trying to stop Kony for years, which only results in failure and retaliation from Kony.
-To get to Kony you'd have to ultimately kill some of his army...which consists of children soldiers.....

    Invisible Children:
-Only 32% of money raised went to direct services (if you support the issue you may want to choose a more worthwhile charity).
-Their accountability and transparency is a 2 out of 4 stars on charity navigator.
-The group is in favor of direct military intervention, and their money supports the Ugandan government’s army and various other military forces.
    - Foreign Affairs has claimed that Invisible Children (among others) “manipulates facts for strategic purposes, exaggerating the scale of LRA abductions and murders and emphasizing the LRA’s use of innocent children as soldiers, and portraying Kony — a brutal man, to be sure — as uniquely awful, a Kurtz-like embodiment of evil.”

Military intervention may or may not be the right idea, but people supporting KONY 2012 probably don’t realize they’re supporting the Ugandan military who are themselves raping and looting away. Educate yourselves a little bit before supporting a particular nonprofit.

Not saying Kony isn't a horrible person. Just thought people might want the entire picture before they support an organization.

  10. I wondered what all those Kony comments on youtube were talking about. I know it is terrible that there are so many bad things that something must be done about it, but at least people are trying. I want to do my part, thank you for sharing this Chace
