The History of Red Lipstick
Red Lipstick is the most iconic cosmetic item known to man.
It has said to have been invented in ancient Egyptian times by Cleopatra, and it has been worn in many ways, even Queen Elizabeth I was known to wear red lipstick during the 16th Century.
It began to popularize in the 1950's as upper class film stars like Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor were know to wear it alot, this influenced young girls to do the same.
It carried on into the 1980/90's influenced by Madonna, then in the 2000's, it was most worn by Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera, and Nicole Kidman.
As we are now in the 2010's, we have seen the likes of Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian and Rita Ora rocking the Iconic Red Lipstick and I am sure that the trend will carry on into the future.
So now into the Stardoll world, I am going to show you different styles of wearing Red Lips.

I love red lips and it's true they're a statement but in an anusual way I don't think they look nice on my doll...
ReplyDeleteSometimes Red liptick looks strange on medolls, but it looks amazing if you find the right mouth and head shape X
ReplyDeleteThen I guess I should start experimenting with my medoll :)
ReplyDeleteAlso I find there are a lot of different shades to work with. Matte, gloss, and sparkles also change the way the tone looks.
ReplyDeleteI'm hardly ever wear red, but when I do it looks amazing!

ReplyDeleteall you did was apply red lipstick on different shades and styles of medolls.
