COLLECTION 3: HYSTERIA

Team members: Martusia_144
Models: ...singstar..., Sweet_gal11, superkotka2, rockinellee, afrin_98, mangunmeetan, xxlovexx
Description: Founded as an outlet for a wild set of dreams, this Ready-to-Wear line, presented by Hysteria, represents a modern take on Native American garb. Each outfit is fitted with some sort of chain detail representing the struggle of the Native Americans and their battle for equality throughout history. Instead of a normal runway, the models walk along a urban graffiti-covered staircase to contrast the soft colours with the hard and cold surroundings.

  3. It is good but it is too much Pocahontas for my taste!

  4. I feel no Native American influence here, especially where you claim the chains represent the oppression of the Native people and yet still use mostly white models. Kind of disappointed.

    1. For one, I only used the models who applied to a specific post a while back, and two, Native American's aren't just brown. The different types of Native American's skin color range from their location, whether it be pale(Eskimos and Alaskan for example) to black(within South America and along the southern regions).
But I'm sorry you can't see the inspiration.

    2. Haha, thank you, but I just don't think it fit me as a person. I like how it turned out, but overall, I'm upset for not really taking the route I wanted to. Originally it was black leather with bold blues and golds. I have a graphic on the graphic vault that shows one of the first original designs(most recent post) on a graphic I made.
And the runway/stairs idea was actually from my trip to Florida. I was walking up some stairs with my sister, when she turned and posed and I was like, "Wow, great idea!" So I went with it. I'm gonna try something new for the winter time.

  10. I didn't really see the native-american feel throughout. I feel as though I've seen the chains before at VERSUS Versace. Also, I'm not too sure whether or not I like the colours as they come across quite dull. But, I must say, I do love the shapes of the garments used! (:

    Well done, Eamonn Collins, x.
