Bambi Revolution

For the ones that follow the future of fashion at the numerous fashion weeks, you may have seen Bambi featuring on the latest Givenchy runway. We could even say that Bambi is the new Mickey. This spring prepare for the Marc Jacobs crop top with Mickey all over the fashion scene.

However it's not that new... The real story of Bambi in fashion begins with Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, who apparently felt upset about the Givenchy runway and as he said on his facebook, surprised that Bambi was on another brand's sweater.

Mickey and Bambi may seem a bit childish compared to the targeted audience however so the alternative of the trend is surely this Carven skirt with the sole Bambi pattern. It's essentially a more classic and wearable version of the trend for most.

However if some if you don't wish to wait until next season to wear it now, just go to Topshop or Asos to find some Bambi replicas in perfect time for the real spring fashion season to begin.

This is not high-fashion, but at least it's 'avant-garde'.

What do you think about this big trend coming? Will you follow or stick without it?

  1. I'm not a fan of this trend. It's too childish for me, personally. I'm sure this just just a fad that will pass through fairly quick.

  2. I'm a sucker for anything quirky. I could have a zoo with the amount of animal print tees and dresses I have.

    No, seriously...

But, yeah, I have that ASOS sweater.

  5. Normally I'm not a huge fan of animated characters on sweaters, but I must say, this is too cute. I love how versatile brands are becoming. This would be dotting on a little child and on an adult.

  6. I don't care too much for Bambi on my clothes. I am definitely too old for it. BUT, I love the skirt with the Bambi print. Prints are better than the characters.
