Admire Couture Release Party: Futuristic Fashion

It looks like since our expired sponsorship, Admire Couture has come quite a long way. We had this slipped into our mailbox earlier today and its looks a little predictable to be honest. We have all seen futuristic fashion before and I am not sure how new or fresh this collection could actually be. But we are not going to judge the brand just yet, give it some time - then we will. ;)

The Classique Awards Announce Nominees, Polls Open!

Here at Tyler's Top Trends we love our media affiliates. We take pride in the fact that we our even blessed with such projects and support.

We wanted to let you know that The Classique Awards have announced the nominees for the Winter season ceremony that will be held on Saturday (we will give you more information on that as it develops). With that being said, voting is currently taking place here. This awards show is sure to become something special in our little world and it can only continue to grow. I, Tyler, am asking for you to take a few minutes of your time to place a vote and show your support.

On a less serious note, Tyler's Top Trends will be bringing you live coverage during the ceremony. We will be covering everything! That includes the winners and the fashion. We will even be obtaining exclusive acceptance speeches from the champions themselves.

Tyler's Trendiest: a Competition

The staff and I wanted to start the year off right. I knew I wanted to give back to you readers somehow. After all, this blog would not be where it is today - without you. Dei (To_Royal), is a writer here and she is one of the most creative people I know. She had the brightest idea.

I am sure, by now, that you are wondering what the competition is... So I am going to tell you! Somewhere after this statement there will be a word, just one. You will have to look over that word, study it, enhance it, and eventually become it. Yes, become it. That is because you must dress your MeDoll up in clothing that you feel best defines that word.

Sounds simple, right? I think so. And for a challenge that easy, the winner will be awarded a prize of 250 Stardollars!

DIRTY Magazine has Passion!

At first looking at this, you might assume I am talking about a filthy magazine, but I assure you, its anything but! New to the Stardoll fashion magazine industry, tonia.ftw along side with BrunoExclusive, brings us this lovely made product.

The graphics are beautifully done with a few simple, yet interesting articles and spreads. As you can see above the fabulous and charming Baya (EliteNews) is their very first cover-girl, surely starting them off this year with a bang!

Even though it is called DIRTY, it is a very sophisticated and divine magazine that appeals to just about anyone, regardless if you have a love for magazines or a short attention span. This will surely get you interested for sure.

While we are on the topic of magazines, take a look at this spoiler that is currently circulating around the blogosphere. Passion Magazine is returning with a vengeance!

Lipstick Magazine Releases "Mini-Issue"!

This is giving me chills!

Could this not be a better way to start off 2011? I love this idea!

As you should all know by now, Lipstick Magazine is in affiliation with us - Tyler's Top Trends! That will not stop me, however, from stating my honest opinions and handing out constructive criticism when reviewing any of the magazine's issues. I am sure the staff would not want it any other way. I am telling the truth when I say this issue is perfection!

The Covergirl is StarCathie, and before today, I never knew who she was. It saddens me because after reading her interview, I genuinely like her personality! When I was reading the "Editor's Letter", I noticed that Editor-in-Chief, Laura Torronley (Lizs), actually wanted to distance her magazine from others.

She states that she focused mostly on finding alternative models and bringing the viewers "new things". She, as well as, the staff - did. I already want to see the rest! I know this magazine will go far.

Tyler's Top Trends Returns!

It seems like months and months have passed by since the last time I published an article here, but then again, that is probably just me over exaggerating (I tend to do that at times). With that being said, I am sure all of you are aware that Tyler's Top Trends went on a much-needed hiatus.

It was an enjoyable break because the staff and I finally got the time to rest and re-cooperate before for this hectic return. Not to mention, we have been able to improve and perfect everything that needed some tweaking.

The blog layout is still transforming as of right now, and I think that is quite apparent. The reason for all of this is simple. The staff and I agreed on the fact that instead of revealing the whole look at once... We should add the new banner, color pallet, and whatever else comes with that, separately. That way, the readers (you) will be able to see the old blog 'look' fadeout while the new design comes into play.

This year is going to be great for me. I hope it is great for this blog too. There is not much more to say, except for Happy New Year, I'm back!
